The Goal

Naltrexone Therapy ends the vicious cycle

Many addicts can go through five to ten cycles of excruciating opiate withdrawal then periods of brief sobriety, only to relapse into using again. When combined with an Intensive Outpatient Therapy [IOP] or the 12-Step Program, Naltrexone Pellet Therapy will end this vicious cycle once and for all!

What is Naltrexone?

Naltrexone is an FDA-approved drug that has been used safely for many years. Once inserted, our compounded pellets slowly and steadily release the medicine into the bloodstream, effectively blocking opioids from acting on the brain. Just a few hours after the procedure, the reward of 'getting high' from taking opiate drugs or heroin is no longer possible.  In addition, it reduces the cravings that make long term success so difficult and relapse so common.

Naltrexone is available in pill form which has not been very effective because of poor patient compliance. There is also an injectable form that is required to be administered once a month.

Naltrexone is a unique prescription drug because it not only has very few side effects, but it has been found to have side benefits. FDA-approved naltrexone, in a low dose, can normalize the immune system - helping those with HIV/AIDS, cancer, autoimmune diseases, and central nervous system disorders.
