- All patients must detoxify from all opiates, heroin, methadone, and Suboxone/Subutex prior to treatment.
- Prior to the procedure a drug screen and physical is performed.
- The naltrexone pellets are inserted under the skin in a quick and relatively pain-free outpatient procedure.
